UPSC hosted an Experts’ Dialogue on Multiple Perspective: Inclusove Urban Governance

During the two days’ forum, UPSC hosted an Experts’ Dialogue on Multiple Perspective: Inclusove Urban Governance.

Vice president and secretary general of UPSC, Dr. SHI Nan moderated the heated discussion.

Invited speakers include Mr. Pietro Garau, coordinator for International Affairs, Italian Institute of Planning, Mr. Piotr Lorens, president of the Society of Polish Planners, Ms. Li ChiMiu, deputy director of Planning/Territorial Bureau of Hongkong, Ms. Eunice H.C.Mak, president of Hongkong Institute of Planners, Mr. Xu Chongguang, deputy Secretary General of Shenzhen Municipal Government, Mr. Bian Lanchun, professor of the Architecture School of Tshinghua University, and Mr. Luo Xiaolong, secretary general of Urban-Rural Governance and Policy Research Committee of UPSC and professor of School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Nanjing University. The moderator and guests shared insightful ideas on urban planning and urban governance, public participation in urban governance and new challenges of urban governance.
