With the rapid pace of urbanization, the urban heat island (UHI) effect poses significant environmental challenges to the sustainability and resilience of urban climates. Anthropogenic heat emission stands out as a pivotal factor contributing to the exacerbation of the UHI, given its direct impact on the ambient temperature within urban areas. Urban anthropogenic heat sources encompass various sectors such as commercial, residential, industrial structures, transportation, and human metabolic activities. Notably, the increase in outdoor ambient air temperature in commercial and residential areas has a more pronounced effect on indoor thermal comfort. Consequently, in the realm of urban planning, the current focus of research lies in optimizing urban morphology based on the aforementioned two sources of emissions.
