Planning Support System (PSS)

The purpose of planning support system (PSS) is to integrate a series of computer software tools, establish a set of information technology framework for the interaction between planners, the public and the government, to provide an interactive, integrated, participatory way to deal with non-permanent, non-structural planning problems. The planning support system should be a fully integrated, flexible and user-friendly system, and its future development direction is as follows: 1) make full use of GIS technology, 2) practicality and usability, 3) model extensibility, 4) data compatibility, 5) support group collaboration and public participation in the planning process.
