Urban Diagnosis

Urban diagnosis should be a cognitive and evaluation of the operation and development of a specific city or region through certain analysis and inspection methods on the basis of the law of urban development and the existing urban planning theory, so as to find problems and find the causes of the problems. From the perspective of its role, urban diagnosis is to a large extent the premise and basis for the formulation of policies and urban planning, and its work is mainly to use the existing theoretical knowledge and law summary to recognize and analyze the city. However, the establishment of city-related theories, the summary of urban development laws and the formulation of specific problem solving strategies generally do not belong to the direct work of urban diagnosis.
