Ecological suitability analysis is a kind of qualitative and quantitative evaluation of regional land’s the ecological status and development and utilization conditions on the basis of regional ecological investigation. It is also a sort of scientific prediction for the possible impact of development and utilization so that it can reflect directly the possibility and potential of regional development and utilization. Natural attributes and social and economic factors should be taken into consideration in analysis indexes’ selecting principle, and these two aspects are important in the same way. Comprehensiveness, dominance, difference, incompatibility, limitation, quantification and other principles should be followed for selecting analysis factors.
