In China, collective-owned construction land refers to the rural land that is owned by rural collectives and used for village construction and development. According to its specific land use, collective-owned construction land can be classified into three categories, i.e., homestead land, land for public/non-profitable use, and land for profitable use. Among them, the collective-owned construction land for profitable use refers to those used for secondary and tertiary industries, such as those for township enterprises.
