China Certified Emission Reduction (CCER), that is, carbon dioxide nuclear reduction, refers to the voluntary GHG emission reduction registered in the national registration level system according to the Interim Measures for the Administration of Trading on Voluntary Emission Reduction of greenhouse Gases issued and implemented by the National Development and Reform Commission. CCER obtains carbon emission reduction benefits in the form of project development and becomes tradable assets through certification. In the future, the carbon emission reduction trading behavior generated in the carbon exchange can be collectively referred to as CCER trading, that is, emission control enterprises purchase the certified amount which can be used to offset their carbon emissions from enterprises implementing "carbon offset" activities.
