The learning city project has became an interesting and unforgettable memory of the year 2015. I have learned a lot from both our Chinese and German fellow, one of the deepest impression that left on me is conscientious, not only about their attitudes to the design work itself but also to the city and people living in. When we do the investigation of the old town in Changzhou, our German fellow were curious about every thing and asked all kinds of questions from the view of the space itself and also from social, economy, administration and so on, besides, their strong will to “experience” the local life also made us surprised. As a consequence, their thought about the renew strategy were more practical and complex than our “blue-print-planning”， they put more emphasis on how to put it into reality while keeping balance of stakeholders, which I think should be considered more in our future design.
